Beloved butchery gets fresh blood

The former Brian’s Butchery and Deli, tucked away on Cobden Road between Ikea and Woodroffe Avenue, is getting new life as a bright and lively hub for pastured meats, sustainable fish, and locally made products. While some of the old favourites, such as pickled eggs, aged Alberta beef and Brian Alsford’s beloved beef marinade recipe have been kept, David Wallace, the 26-year-old new owner, is transforming the shop.
